This review is so lackluster and useless I made an account here just to post this comment

This review doesn't mention how quickly they charge, the codecs that are supported such as AAC and SBS

The reason I buy the Sony WH/WF is for Sony's LDAC codec alone, it's the only wireless headphones I have used with a decently stable connection whilst maintaining its high level of audio fidelity

This isn't an article for anyone who actually cares about the WH1000-XM5s and want to find a cheaper alternative
