Can I watch ITV1 in Scotland via Freeview?

I have a Sony 40V4000 and was wondering if i can tune into ITV1 with the sets in built tuner? Or is STV the only channel I can pick up?

Unless you live right in the south of Scotland and can pick up an ITV region like Border you cannot get ITV1 England via Freeview in Scotland. You can however get ITV1 England (the London region) via Freesat, either the BBC/ITV version of Freesat or "Free Sat from Sky". I think with cable you can usually get the London variation of ITV1. Hope this helps. Is this so you can watch ITV's new drama season by any chance?!

Ha ha yes, my girlfriend wants to see some of the stuff which is being advertised just now. We live in South West Scotland and only have Freeview at the moment, thinking of upgrading to Sky when we move. I didn't think we could pick it up because the auto tuner never found it, but thank you anyway 🙂
