Can I hook up a dvd player to a Pioneer A30

Hey All,

Im new to all this so thought id ask the experts...can I hook up a dvd player to a Pioneer A30? The User Manual seems to have images for every hook up apart from a dvd.

In my mind it should work via AUX so aslong as the dvd player has an audio output thatll work right?

You should be alright if it's for audio only, lf you run a cable to your tv couldn't you then run the audio out from the tv to A30, thats what i'd do.

It will work fine. The only input that will not be OK is the 'Phono (MM)' input as this is designed for a turntable.

Thanks for the quick reply, that sounds good to me, ill give it a try. Just to be sure will it be the AUX input on the amp I put it into? I think i'll have to get a super long one to reach across to where the amps located.
