Can I do this with my PC speakers?

I have these Altec MX5021 THX right now, but dont like the fronts as the sound muddled and thought the Q acoustics 1010i would be better and for 39.95 I cant argue.

What do you think?

Front Speakers: 20 Watts/channel @ 6 ohms @
10% THD @ 150 - 18000 Hz 2 Channels Loaded
• Subwoofer: 50 Watts @ 4 ohms @ 10% THD @ 40
- 150 Hz Single Channel Loaded

Difficult to say - do the fronts have a power supply (and therefore an amp inside them) or does the power only go into the subwoofer?

Powered sub, so nothing in the speakers.

If they're just connected to the sub with conventional speaker cables, should be fine.

In which case, probably worth a go. Same nominal impedance.

If they don't work, you have a nice pair of speakers for other uses...
