Cambridge Audio DacMagic + Marantz PM6003 vs Denon AVR-1910 or similar

Hi,

I want to play the music on my PC through a hifi.

I was considering using the SPDIF out on my PC to a Cambridge DAC and a Marantz PM6003 amp to go with my wharf diamond 10.1's.

Though im not sure if i should just get a receiver such as the denon for the same cost of the Cambridge DAC and the PM6003.

Any thoughts on which set up will give me the best audio quality for listening to my music would be appreciated.

thanks. id thought 2 specialist devices would be better than more of an all rounder.

i am using a hdmi lead from laptop to denon1909 using spotify premium and ripped cds on itunes and it sounds good, almost that you start thinking thats alright then i turn my amp and cd player on switch the floorstanders back to to hifi and play the same cd that i have just listened to and it cant get close if in this case cd playback was 100% i would say that spotify was around 65%. Thats why after easter im getting a black dac magic ti run through the hifi.
