Cables?!?!?!?

Right so I've got the main products - Cambridge Audio A1 Amp, Cambridge Audio CD4 CD player, and a pair of Tannoy M20 speakers.

All I need now is some analogue interconnect and some speaker cable. What would you suggest - I really dont want to spend much here so I'm guessing speaker wire wise I'm best off with some QED Silver Anniversary XT or some Chord Company Carnival SilverScreen; which of these two would be best? I haven't got a clue what interconnect to get - again I really dont want to spend much (nor more than £15ish really - so maybe getting some second hand would be best? What would you recommend?).

I also need some speaker brackets for the speakers because I have no room for standmounts - the speakers weight 7kg and are 21cm deep - any ideas? Is the best thing to do just to get some secondhand off ebay?

Chord Carnival Silverscreen definately

See what it sounds like with the supplied I/C and then decide what if anything you want to enhance, after that then go for an I/C which does that. Ie if your system is bright, you do not want a bright interconnect.

Hey, thanks for the info. I got the stuff off ebay secondhand so it didn't come with any interconnect, which is why I need some - dont want to spend much but dont want to get some really bad £2 thing from currys and ruin the system if you see where im coming from....🙂

QED 79-strand is ample for speaker cable.
