CA ID10 iPod dock: weird connection?

Hi all,

I’m thinking of getting a CA ID10 iPod dock today for a party I’m having tonight. Now, for £20 I’m not expecting much, but I’m concerned about how it will connect to my system as I understand it has only a 35m line-out. I have a Cambridge Audio A300 amp and 540c v2 CD player – how would the ID10 connect to my system?

Thanks for the advice. I could of course ask the dealer this but I’m tied up at work today so my partner, who’s not very tech savvy, is going to pick it up for me and I want to make sure it’s going to work!

Presumably you're getting it from Richer Sounds - they'll be able to furnish you with a 3.5mm jack-to-2 x phono from their collection here. You could probably find cheaper ones than their minimum £9.99, but not much, and seeing as you're in the shop anyway...
