my dad came to stay with me over xmas and he was so impressed with my panasonic th50pz80 that i offerd to buy him one for xmas but he refused, so i gave him mine.now i know your all going to say ah! what a nice gesture but there is a method behind my madnesss.yes i get to buy myself a shiny new set,now i couldnt live with anything smaller than a 50 so should i stay with the trusted pana sets or maybe go for the kuro or hook up my old 40 sony bravia (circa 2005) and wait for oled tv or see what the 2009 models are like. dont get me wrong the panasonic was fantastic but i couldnt pass up the opportunity to try something new. will oled ever be affordable in my lifetime?

Hi,

If you can afford it and are happy then go for the KURO - if not then get another Panasonic or even have a look at other models.

If you can afford OLED in the size you require, you could have bailed out Iceland mate!

Cheers,

My work colleagues in Cardiff gave me a bottle of Penderyne as part of my departure gift when I was made redundant last year, As a Scot I had to admit wasn't bad...
