Hi im thinking of getting a new Tv & im intrested in "Built-in Freeview HD, " i live in scottish borders so im ok for freeview,If i get "Built-in Freeview HD" is it just a case of plugging it in tune it in and you get "HD Pictures" when available......ive no dish on my house. 🙂

So long as your area gets Freeview HD then yes, just plug in your aerial lead and off you go.

Pop in your postcode here...

(We still have to wait until March next year in our area.)

I also suggest you check to see if you need a digital terrestrial TV aerial fitted, unless you have already done so.

Many people get sufficient signal strength from an old style aerial, but if reception in your area is a bit 'marginal' then you risk what has been dubbed the "Digital Cliff-Edge". (Analogue signal quality falls off progressively whereas digital reception is fine until it has dropped to a certain threshold whereupon it all suddenly falls apart!)
