I have just read this news story and thought i would post it here but can you dip in and out of BT, how much will it cost and how does it transmit eg aerial, satelite.

the bt boxes are freeview,i would imagine 4k will be streamed,i could be interested in this as im already a fibre customer.

Being pedantic their boxes are Youview based (DTT + IPTV) not Freeview.

It will be streamed (via their IP Multicast network/infrastructure)

What I'm interested to know is:

1) What are those 47 premium TV channels as they seemed to have gone up from the 22 Premium channels that the £10 per month package.

2) Confirmation that with a conventional full HD tv you can still watch all the channels with the exception of the "ultra 4k" channel(s)

3) Whether the HD sports channels are included in the £15 price or whether I need to pay £4 extra per month for their "HD extra" service.

I called BT today and their customer reps have no clue.
