As you can see I currently have BR5s as front speakers which I am happy with, but have always thought on whether the BR6 would give me more oomph. Now that they can be had for £350, I am tempted. Now, Monitor Audio do a BR2 AV & BR5 AV, but not the BR6 does this mean MA don't really consider them suitable for HC ? If I did get BR6 at the front I would prob sell the 5s and keep the BR1s as rears. I am also very interested in the new Marantz SR5005 which is 100 wpc, as they are rears would the BR1s be ok (they are 70w handling) BTW the NR1501 amp I have at mo is 50wpc

I'm not sure whether upping to the BR6 or getting a better sub would give you more (and better) oomph. As far as the amp goes you'd have no problems, would give you more oomph too!

I doubt you would see lots of bang for your buck with 2 extra speakers.

I would invest in a BK electronics subwoofer, or another BR Sub, which can be had very cheap
