Bose Acoustimass 6 home theater system any good?

got an option to buy the bose accostimass for about £250? is that a good deal, if so any ideas to hook it up with?

Early Bose Acoustimass systems used passive bass modules, which is no longer compatible with digital surround formats. Stick to the Mark 2 and 3 models which use active ones.
