Blew my first fuse!

Not as dramatic as you'd think though. I was using the shop's jd502b Jolida tube amp, listening in the 9 o'clock position to pachelbel in the dark (watching that magnificent tube glow). And buzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZZZ I look up to see a runaway 6550 tube glowing like a boiler plate and snap. The fuse went.

In the Jolida's defence it's a knackered older one sent out for auditions often, and it was the original tubes still!

Now I'm back on the Naim while they fix it.

You can't call yourself an audiophile until you have blown a transistor...or until you've melted voicecoils...
