bi wiring

Bi-wiring is running a separate run of cable to each of the tweeter and the woofer on your speakers, so that they get a separate signal. You have to have speakers that are capable of it (two sets of speaker inputs on the back), and you have to remove the connectors that join those inputs together (often called jumpers).

At the amp end, some amps have two sets of outputs to make it easy, but it works just as well with one set of outputs by joining the two sets of cables together.

Whether its worth it or not is another thread entirely

It can have benefits, but depending on your kit may cost more just for the extra speaker cable than the improvements to be had.

John, I have just changed my AVR1910 to a RXV1065, with RX1's at the front L&R, I am toying with using the cables that where my Height cabling as bi-wire, it's not a big job.

Do you think it would be worth my while with my kit or just stick with yamahas presence version.
