Bi Ampsing

Please could you give me some advice on Bi amping. I have a Denon 2808 AV receiver capable of 7.1 I am about to purchase some Tannoy DC3 speakers as front speakers. The amp is capable of Bi amping using the unused rear channels for 7.1. Is this worth doing? I heard Bi amping is only worth doing if you use 2 seperate amps with 2 seperate pwer supplies ??
