Best way to connect PV1d sub to Leema pulse?

Hi,

Received my B&W PV1d the other day initially connected it through the twin plug pre-out of the amp to the twin plug connection on the sub(through bog standard cables). B&W do supply a wire to connect it through the speaker cable outs or the option to connect through the standard single cable that you usually use for AV amps.

Is any method better than the other or does it not matter? I have the sub paired with my Dynaudio Excite X12's. Is it worth buying a decent cable, nothing too fancy just something like a Chord Crimson?

I use the preamp out RCA to connect my subwoofer for music.
