Best Phono stage for Denon DL160 HOMM...

Further to may last thread having now established that my Roksan Kandy K2's phono stage is faulty and the unit is not under guarantee, I am now looking for recommendations for a suitable phono amp for my Radius 5 and Denon DL160 homc cartridge......I am looking in the £150-300 range and my current leading contender is the Graham Slee Gram Amp 2 at £229....I was given a tip about Edwards Audio units and given a link to a comparative review of one of their units vs a Slee and they claimed the EA unit was better in all respects...but according to this site the same EA amp gets 3 stars and the G Slee communicator gets an enthusiastic 5 star review....even when the Roksan phono stage was working fine and the DL160 was on my Linn Axis I did find it a little bright and bass light with my MS Mezzo speakers so I'm looking fo more depth, richness and full bass...

Any help welcome feel free to recommend something else.....

Whatever you choose I'd go for one with adjustable loading. It gives you another tool to 'fine tune' sound.
