Best NAS

I want to purchase a NAS as i have an old desktop a laptop and an external h/drive with photos music etc... scattered across them all. So i wondered who on these forums has one and what type they recommend, I want to use mine for storage, streaming & ftp etc...

I have the netgear readynas duo with 2x1tb drives in a mirrored configuration. Streaming works well, believe it does ftp too and can host your pics to share with others. I like the power feature which allows you to set when it powers on/off automatically.
