My money would be on Monitor Audio RX2 or Dynaudio DM2/7 if you can stretch. For cheaper alternative I would go for Dali speakers like the Zensor or Lektors.

You can pick up some clearance Castle Knight 2s for less than £200 which might work quite well with the A-S500.
