Can anyone do better than this ? I just need something to record from my V+ box

Its the Sony RDRGX 350B and its only £105 !!!

Same model is 95 quid on Amazon. The cheaper Sony models have had very mixed reviews: though I have no personal experience of the 350B I would be somewhat wary.

Yes I saw that - but is that multi region as well ?

Will look into the quality - but all I really need it for is moving TV series and films from V+ hard drive to disk, and watching DVDs.

Upscaling can be done by the V+ box
