where the hell has my post gone!!??

ill try again,

my onkyo 606 is slowly giving up on me, so want to buy the new 609 with spotify,

has anybody had any problems with the 609 hdmi switchover board and or overheating?

next question......

i want to upgrade my kef satilite speaker system and want to use my old B&W 602's as rear left and rights, and my new htm61 center. however im missing some front floor standers. (i'm guessing this would be a quite respectable system?)

i would like 683/684's but dont think ill have the cash. so want any ideas for some budget floorstanders that will go with this setup (i'm keeping the kef kube2 sub)

are wharfedales any good? and any feedback on the quality of the spotify downloads via this amp.

thanks again in advance

Whats your budget? Need to have starting point as there are plenty of choices and would you consider buying some ex demo speakers? :)

yeah i would go for ex demo/second hand. my htm61 was ex demo, and at £99 a complete bargain with full 5 years warranty.

i was thinking around the £300 mark for the floor standers. I dont want to thow any old speakers in the mix i want them to match up with my current set-up

Best bet would be to trawl online auction sites and try to track down some B&W 603/604 floorstanders, and the matching LCR centre speaker. You don't mention which series your 602s are, but you tend to see speakers from all 3 series pop up now and again.

I would have to go with the 6 series by B&W too. Alternatively you could look at the MA speakers. Take a peak at the seveoaks and thier clearance section or visit ebay.
