Best all in one home cinema system?

Hi all,

Im wondering what the best all in one home cinema system for blu ray and 5.1 is? Can anyone recommend a decent kit that will rival a 'budget' separates kit? I have about £1k to spend.

This is just my opinion, and it will take you a little over 1k mark, but if budget, is tight you can skip last item and upgrade later,but we're now in the digital age, I assume you have hdmi tv, and below system is based on what hifi ratings:

Mac mini as source £529 all in one unit to access CD, DVD, Internet radio, mp3 library, download content, internet, photos

Sony Strdh820 av amp £219 priced from richer sounds

Boston Xs se 5.1 satellite speaker package £230 priced from richer sounds

Panasonic blue ray player £180

If your not bothered about multiple speakers, get a good streo amp and speakers like YaMaha as700 and Tannoy v4 speakers, but you'll prob have more cables because you miss the the av amps ability as hdmi switch box....
