Beginners Headphone set up

Whilst looking at upgrading my hifi I have started to read a little about DAC's and headphone amps.

Could anyone suggest a perfect and reasonably priced DAC/AMP and headphones?

At the moment I've come across the Grado SR80i's which are at the top of my ideal budget but what DAC to I pair it with as I want to spend as little as possible to achieve proper hi fidelity sound.

the source of music is an ipod touch/phone and Macbook Pro.

I ordered my first pair of headphones yesterday and with them my first DAC and my first headphone Amp...

You will have to by a separate headphone amp if the DAC doesnt have one built in.
I opted for equipment I believe will hold up for a while as I in the past used to buy good things and ended up buying better things within 6 months.

Headphones: Sennheiser HD650 (£300)
DAC: Rega (£450)
Headphone amp: Graham sleeve novo (£255)

Might not help you much as you want to keep cost down... but anyway
