basic question about Mission 701 speakers

Hi I've got a bit of a basic question here. I've recently moved so wanted to find out the best way I should position my Mission 701 speakers. Could anyone offer some advice? Thanks

How do you mean? Distance between speakers, distance between speakers and listener, distance between speakers and wall behind, toe-in angle or all of the above?

if i remember rightly about 30cm away from a wall
iv always had mine between 1-1.5m apart sounded better in the smaller room though toed in so the sweetspot starts just before where you sit.
all depends on you room shape/size though

Preferably pointing at your ears not the wall, although I've heard some folk prefer their speakers facing the wall.

Ah yes, the old inverted dome trick...

try firing them straight out into the room you may find a hole in the middle, in this case toe them in slightly until you get that 3d effect but missions sound good firing straight out so only toe them in if you don't get that 3d effect.
