Balanced TV/DVD Player Set Up

Hi,

I was curious to see what people thought in regards to pairing certain items of av kit with other. I was thinking of buying the new Pioneer BDP-LX70A to go with my Panasonic TX-32LXD700. Do you think that this Pioneer Blu Ray player is too expensive to pair with this LCD and that I won't see the benefits of it? Also if it is ok should I connect it up with The Chord HDMI in the 2007 awards or something more expensive?

Absolutely...........crazy buying something like the Pioneer and paring it with the puny Pansaonic in this respect.

Moreover, do your self a favour........wait until the new generation of Java compatible Blu Ray players hit the market very shortly. I've also read something about BD profile with which the current crop of players including the BDP-LX70A fall outside. My suggestion is to wait until we all know what the proper formats and compatabilities will be because right now there is no uniform standard.
