Hi All

I currently run some Esoteric MG20 speakers which have fabulous highs and mids but can be a bit bass shy. To that end I would like to add a subwoofer for mainly music duties. I rather like the look of B&W and also the WB Torus. Here in the Netherlands it is difficult to get a demonstration of either. Has anyone heard both these subs and should I also have others on the "to listen to" list

Thanks

The Torus is significantly better than the PV1 and will be far better suited to music. The other sub to listen to at the Torus level is the Paradigm Sub1 - very quick and plenty of power.

The Torus is about 6 times the price and 6 times the size! Great specs, sounds great (there was one at the Manchester show). If you can afford it, buy it..... I envy you.

The PV1 is a good style sub, perhaps overpriced. The Torus is a very stylish top of the range sub, and is very pricey.
