Hi, already own a pair of JBL HP420 speakers. I have the opportunity to replace them with the B&W DM630's.
Theyre both dated from early 90's. I have lots of fun with the JBLs but the B&W's sound nice too.
What would you choose? I think they were sold in the same pricerange, which is roughly (not totally sure) 1000 pound a pair.
I was able to audition the 630, but in a very noisy and crowded place.. jusging them at home is always the best ofcourse, but getting them here wont be so easy (dont have a car to pick m up fast and return 'm if i dont like 'm)
I suppose not many people have heard both speakers. But if you can convince me the B&W's are a better pick based on price, quality or looks, i'll take 'm! They'll only cost me 35 pound a pair.
I´ll be using them with a Cyrus 8vs+PSX-R and one Xpower
