I've got the chance to buy a pair of B&W DM602.5 S3s for £100. I'm not much of an expert on decent hifi, I'm ashamed to admit, but I know B&W have a good reputation & are often expensive, so my question is: is this a deal worth going for?
For the record I currently have a Technics SL-PG5 running through a Sony TA-VE150 surround system amp, pushing 25W per channel at between 8 & 16 ohms, & my current speakers are cheap leftovers from an old mini-system, JVC SP-D601s quoted at 80W & 6 ohms. I'd like to improve all of this over time & if the speakers are a good deal it could be a good place to start....
