B&W CM8 - Stereo amp?

Hi guys,

I need some help with the choice of an amplifier.

Situation:
Currently I play my music on an old Technics SL1310 record player in combination with a Technics SU-V660 amplifier and 2x Jamo 128.
I have the amp and the speakers on loan... So I'm thinking of buying my own set.

I will probably go with 2x Bowers&Wilkins CM8 since in the reviews they appear to have really good audiophile performance and the looks of the speakers are very nice! But I'm looking for some suggestions for a stereo amp to match the CM8's.
Phono is a must off course. Possibility for an iPod connection can come in handy.
I love the looks of the Yamaha A-S1000/2000 but are they a good option?

Budget: +-€1000 (max €1300)

I hear that Rotel are a good match with B&W. How about RC1550/RB1552 Pre/power amps?
