Hello, Will B&W 685 S2 work good in a small bedroom? and what amps and cd player will work good with the speakers?

Hi. You need to try for yourself. If it's a really small bedroom and volume levels won't be big, then the 685 S2 might be a bit overkill, and you could save up some moneys. Checkout some Sony bluray player with optical out for CD playback, use the optical in on the Marantz PM6005 into a pair of Dali Zensor 1 or 3 if you find the 1 insufficient. Alternatively, use Marantz MCR610 with Dali Zensor 1 or 3 if you also want radio and streaming, besides CD playback.

I agree with the other comment, go and listen to it in a store. I was determined to buy these B&W's but was truly disappointed when listening to them in the store.
