B&W 685 + Nakamichi AV2s = ?

Hello,

I'm new to hifi and need your opinion on my budget set up.

I'm going to place the system in the room of size about 3.5*3.5m^2

Will the matching of 685 with the amp ok (in terms of power / whatever)?

Not considering any floorstander due to limited budget and space constrain.

Thinking of changing the spoilt Robertson floodstander speakers (can't remember model) to the 685.

Do you have any specs of the Nak in question? Is it receiver or stereo? My mate used to have a Nak (can't remember what model it was) and we were always impressed with the sound quality for the money.

Edit: Aha just found it, 2 channel receiver? Can't find anything anything about it's power/anything though?

80WPC should drive the 685's, but I'm afraid I can't vouch for the quality/characteristics of the amp because like I said I've only heard one different model of Nak about 5 years ago. Sorry, but your best waiting for someone with more knowledge with them to come along!
