I would not necessarily agree with the sound quality comment, they do have a different presentation but I wouldn't say they have better sound quality. The grados are also no good if you want to listen to your music anywhere that isn't quiet or on your own. The build quality and comfort on the grados are also not great. £80 more doesn't seem a huge amount more for the above bonuses to me.

I agree grados environment usage limitations need to be considered, but having tried a friends pair of these plus similar offerings from b&w, they are just overpriced nice feeling and looking headphones. Please enlighten me to any B&O product that is worth its RRP for its sound or picture performance.

Not really, a pair of Grado SR80i's will sound better.

That's such a non-sensical statement. That's a very good price for B&O H6, considering it retails at £329. I personally didn't like the Grados at all.

I agree, they are very different products. I do like the grado sound though.

I still can't decide what to do with headphones! :wall: I prefer on the ear ones though, so think I will pass, but tempted though. :)

No ****! Gel you have a subwoofer that cost more than my whole signature, can't you just be happy with what you've got?

Yep, good advice. :). I just can't make up my mind with headphones though, I got a pair from Tesco for £25 down from £60 and they hurt my head - not soft enough, now I know I will buy a pair but what I am not sure. Best I avoid spending over £100 though. I would like to find a bargain from somewhere though. That would be sweet.

What do you want the headphones for?

While on holiday and home use. I was thinking about the Philips M1 at £105?

You really don't know much about B&O then. They're not mere style statements. They inveat in a lot of R&D. They invented class D amplification.

Compared to the cheap brands who mass produce stuff by buying components from other manufacturers, B&O makes most components in-house. Their products are known to last for 20+ years. Their build quality is second to none. B&O Avant TV for example doesn't use cheap plastic, it's made of aluminum and glass.

I think they must be finding the blue ones hard to shift as they are £179.90 on Amazon.

The black ones are over £100 more.

I quite like like the blue one and I might order a pair as I find my AKGs a bit uncomfortable.

Hadn't noticed :)

I'd happily pay the extra 90 p thru the Amazon site. When ever I've had an issue with a seller on Amazon they've always reacted wel. I think they're likely to act quicker to retain their status on he site.

I ordered mine on Amazon, that way if you change your mind your can cancel. Just got a pair for £20 on John Lewis clearance, this pair here:

They were £50. Pretty good too and you get a case.
