This may not be the most ideal forum for it but I see tons of MC forums asking a lot about audio options.
Short of doing some extensive and possibly exotic modifications, i've seen guys do pro-level install of Focal speakers on their touring rides, there aren't many options.
At the moment, the best option seems to be Cardo-PacTalk Bold.
Cardo Systems latest iteration has JBL sound and actually sounds pretty good.
Some of you may not be aware of it's application, you can wirelessly pair several devices together with this including other headsets to talk with passengers or possibly people you are sharing the road with.

Cardo is not the only name in the game but it seems like the best solution in a market full of compromises, Sena is another brand competing in that market.
The other options go back to more retro style solutions using amateur radio to link up with your road buddies. I am a ham-op myself but I can see how that would be undesirable for most modern individuals accustomed to phone use.
