Of course chopping one's vegetables on wood instead of stone, will have a distinct effect on the taste (not to mention the effect stone has to the knife). Some people also swear that only a carbon fibre knife with silver trimmings gives real high end food.
But don't forget that the gas tube or electric power cord might have an even larger effect. But, to be honest, if you don't have a high end stainless steel stove at least 1.5 metre wide, you won't really be able to distinct between tastes anyway.
Sorted...Wilkinsons came up trumps. Not exactly the same as the Argos ones, size is the same but colour is more of an overall black instead of the marbled black but fine nonetheless. Get down there quick...I can see a shortage coming on.....
