Arcam solo mini owners

Hi had a solo mini since Thursday and have had time for a good listen and i find there is a lack of detail in the bass eg when listening to jazz does any one else notice this or am i expecting to much from this amp or my speakers which are mission 780se standmounts thanks

I dont own one but auditioned it recently. It is what it is, a good micro and as such you should'nt expect more than what is reasonable from it.

The Solo Mini has 25W per channel. The 780se is rated at 50W+ and is quite insensitive at 87dB. Impedance is fine at a min of 5.6Ohms. I would suggest that you need a bit more welly behind them to get the bass definition you're after. That's just a thought rather than an experience.
