Arcam rDAC v rpac

This could be a silly question but can the rpac be used in the same way as the rDAC? Connect to your hi fi to boost the cd quality?

I have an arcam av250 and arcam dv79 and was told that I can connect the rDAC to that setup to improve the cd audio quality to arcams leading cd players. Will the rpac do this?
