Arcam iRDock and 3rd gen problems

Hello - I have a problem with my Arcam iRDock and 3rd Gen ipod Touch in the sense that I cannot seem to get it to work via my Arcam AVP9 Processor system/Home cinema set-up and yet it will work via a Denon Integrated amplifier. IS there something Im doing wrong or is there a compatibility issue with this iRDock unit with my Arcam FMJ AVP9 processor? This unit will not work via my Chord CPA1800 pre-amp/Denon Monoblock System either but it will only work via the Denon Integrated. Can anyone suggest what the problem may be?
