Arcam Electronics with Usher S520 speakers

Has anyone tried pairing Arcam electronics with Usher S520 speakers? I've got an old Alpha 8 CDP and Alpha 9 integrated amp and am looking for some new bookshelf speakers. I thought the laid back Arcam kit might partner well with the Ushers, but before I make a long drive to audition this possible set up I wondered if anyone out there had already heard it....

Love the Usher

I can't see why it wouldn't work but they gonna suited to Acoustic, Jazz than Dance or rock.
