I am also looking at improving the output of the Sonos too. But where does the AVR500 it in the scheme of stereo amps? Is it up there with a Naim XS?

Originally I had an Arcam AVR300 and used it connected to my Sonos for stereo listening. I tried Cyrus 6XP, NAIM Nait 5i and a Leema Pulse and all were far better stereo wise than the Arcam using the Sonos as my source. Hope that helps.
