Hi, i'm looking to upgrade my current speaker and amp set up. Ive yet to audtion any amps or speakers yet, but from what i've been reading in the mag, i'm currently leaning towards the Onkyo TX-SR875. As for speakers, I like what I read about the Dali Ikon 6 package.
My question is this - My room measures 17.5 foot long, 8.5 foot wide. Would that setup be too much for the room size? Not so much the physical presence ( I have large speakers as it is), more so the sound.
I live in a detached house, so volume levels are not an issue, in terms of disturbing neighbors. I just wondered if it would be too much for the room size.
If it is too much , any alternative speaker suggestions would be appreciated.
