Apple TV and SR 606

Hi everyone,

I have a SR 606 with Sky, DVD, XBox and Apple TV connected. All work perfectly through HDMI except for Apple TV. I get the signal and picture on screen via HDMI but the apple remote will not work so I cannot select music/photos etc. The Apple TV box indicates that it is receiving the signal (light blinking when working remote) but I cannot navigate the menus.

I've checked that the Apple TV works separate to the AMP with the TV etc etc. Has anyone encountered this problem. Any help greatly appreciated.

I looked for this question (and answer) on the forums without luck but apologies if I missed it.

[/quote]Best phone and ask the mac store where you bought the apple tv for advice. My guess is that it's the remote that's faulty. Could try the apple tv with a different screen -like the one from your computer- to test.

All,

I found the issue. I had replaced the battery in the apple remote and needed to 're-pair' the remote the the device. All works perfectly now, the system is terrific. Thanks to Solomon 1 who replied and provided the spark for working out the answer.
