Update on the hearing aids;

After trying them, they were returned, but I didn’t order a pair.

Yes, they were lighter, better technology with more features. But at the end of the day, they didn’t have the same impact that I recall my Oticons having.

When you put the Oticons in, it was immediately obvious that you were wearing them. As well as the increase in volume, everything sounded clearer and the higher frequencies were certainly more noticeable.

With the Phonaks, this just wasn’t the case, there was no immediate improvement and then when you took them out, there was no apparent difference. It was nice having the rechargeable battery, BT technology, answering phone calls and listening to music was nice, but at over 13000 PLN it was a lot of money for that, when you could get the same with a pair of AirPods Pro3 for example.

Consequently, have decided to wait for my existing Oticons to arrive and then test these against a newer Oticon model and see where that goes.

So originally had the B&W PX8 headphones for a year but ending up selling them because I stopped getting on with them. Then 6 months later I had a listen to the B&W PX7S2e headphones the model down from the flagship and loved them!

Saw them on Amazon for £210 and bought them and they are great. So that’s the end of my headphone search. I couldn’t afford the Focal Bathys in the end despite the price drop. Cheers.

I think I am going to now though, headphones are not for me. I hopefully won’t buy another pair, that’s me done. I prefer my music out in the open not closed around my ears.👂
