Any news about the upcoming new B&W Mini theater system?

I've heard the new Mini theater system comes with a dedicated center speaker and updated and improved M-1s, is this true? Anyone has listened or take a look at them?

BTW I'd like to see a pic of the new M-1 satellites... 😛ray:

Who told you this? This is the first I hear of a dedicated center speaker. January announcement is very disappointing.

A salesman was. He told me there was no white M1s in stock anywhere and about the upcoming minitheater system but frankly I haven't read anything about the center speaker in any other place.

The sales team at Sevenoaks Sound & Vision Sevenoaks told me that is expected in the new year slighty imporved components and new wiring setup

There's information on a couple of russian sites. They are keeping the M-1 name for the new model and the new subwoofer is going to be the PV1D and there's even a picture of it. Prices are GBP150 for the M1 and GBP1200 for the PV1D. It's going to be out in the first quarter of next year. Translation from russian speaks about massive improvement over the current Mini Theatre.

Any idea how cables will connect to the new speakers? Do any of the smaller (style) speaker packages use proper plugs or do they all use bare-wire connections (which seems a little odd for a relatively expensive piece of hardware)?

PV1D reminds me of Porsche 911,each new model is an evolution rather than revolution.Looks cooler than the outgoing PV1.

I think I found one on a russian site. It looks exactly the same as the older model but when you look closer there are differences (grill, base).

Search for B&W M-1 PV1D on google images and it's one of the first pictures looking like an m-1 you'll see

The packages will be the MT50 and MT60D.

I'm guessing the MT60D comes with the PV1D subwoofer. What about the MT50?

I've found the new M1 pic...it's in black and looks almost identical to the outgoing M1.Bit of a shame really because it makes swapping out my current M1's a wee bit silly.
Thats unless there's a MASSIVE,STELLAR sound improvement which is highly unlikely with B&W using basically the same enclosure :doh:
