Hi all, I have the Debut III running through a Rotel RA04 and BR2 speakers. The RA04 has a built in phono stage - it's ok, but not great to my ears.

Would there be a noticable improvement in sound quality (i.e. could i justify shelling out seventy notes) in running the turntable through a Cambridge 640P phono stage instead?

Not sure whether it's £80 of upgrade. See if your local RS will allow you one on a trial basis - some stores would do...
