you could try the panasonic centre on cold harbour rd - he repaired a cd player for me a few years ago or dont Richer Sounds offer a repair service?

Hi Dave

if you get stuck with this give me a shout, we use a guy who been repairing audio kit for over 40 years and by gum he knows his stuff.

Not near you but a courier is easy to arrange

what amp is it and whats the problem?/

hi al thanks for the offer it is a sony str db830qs i bought on e bay for 20 pounds all in grest condition apart from the rear right channel has gone and have read quite a few forums that say this is a speaker relay problem and isnt a difficult fix if you know what your doing under there but i dont where is your guy situated?
