Hi all, NAD C352 has been disconnected for a while, reconnected it yesterday but could not find the original power cord. I noticed that the connection at the back of the is for a 2 pin, but the power cord was 3 pin. So connected it, green light appeared but no light inside the NAD. Is it because I haven't got the right power cord?

Really don't want to splash out on a new a

amp if I can avoid doing so.

Thanka in advance

If the original power socket on the NAD is two pin then it's a double insulated producted (no earth). Connecting a three pin type will have no effect as the earth in the cable has nowhere to go... in other words it doesn't matter.

It appears you have a problem with the amp itself.
