Airport Extreme...thats right, Extreme not Express

Was hoping to load music onto socket powered HDD and connect to Extreme and then run itunes from my Laptop. I remember hearing that it can be temperamental with this type of HDD over a USB powered type, and can take a while to awake from sleep modes.

Anyone tried this, any problems?

I have this and no problems at all. I previously connected my HDD directly to my mac via firewire and there seems to be no difference unless transferring huge files.

Wake -up on a handful of occasions maybe up to 30 seconds, however, I think this is more because of my Mac having to wake up rather than the HDD having to wake up. Being woken up by my apple TV2 to be exact.
