Airplay

Gang,

I have a Denon AVR-3311 and it has just been announced that this will support iTunes' "Air Play" via an update in November.

My itunes files are all stored on a iOmega Home Media Network Hard Drive, and I can already stream these files to my Denon amp. My question is...what will "Air Play" add that I can't do at present?

Not a lot: it's mainly designed for easy streaming from standalone Apple computers and the various Apple portable players. If you already have a home network set-up using a NAS drive, and a network client receiver, you probably don't need AirPlay.
