advice on selling speakers.

Hello there,

I do realise that trading is strictly forbidden on this forum. I was wondering however if any one had any recommendations for selling speakers other than ebay which I hate using. I am planning to sell all my surround sound speakers and would like to do it in a reliable way without any hassle. I also hate posting equipment or sending by courier.

Well if you won't post you'll have to send locally and therefore be restricted to a very small market. So check out your local paper or free ads type thing. You won't be targeting your desired market so they probably won't sell or not for very much.

I used the well known auction site to sell a pair of 20 year old Tannoys. Even on said site similar pairs offered for pick up only went for about £11. I sorted out a courier (all very easy) and got £41 - which helped fund a new AV amp...
