but waht do you think about the Accuphase E-250? it looks defently nice! but ho did it sounds?

Accuphase certainly come with a fantastic reputation (and price tag), wished I had the money to at least hear one.

Chebby is a big admirer of Accuphase, and should be able to offer more insight into the brand.

Not heard this model, but from what I've read it is refined, gives a lot of detail and good dynamics. Works a treat with the DAC-20 board installed apparently.

Fair enough. TBH, I although I love Japanese kit like Accuphase, Esoteric, Luxmann, etc. I think it is overprices outside of Japan and doesn't give you good bang for your buck. e.g the E-250 retails for just under 300,000 yen in Japan (around 2,300 pounds or 2800 Euro).
